I am passionate about the wealth of talent that Dorset has to offer. I try and use locally produced tea and coffee when I cater our events and I try and hunt out local produce and businesses whenever I can.
I hope to share some of this love by pulling together some locally crafted artwork in our Christmas Craft Fair on Saturday 13th December. I will be creating a mini Winter Wonderland full of beautiful craft, delicious hot drinks and scrumptious Christmas bakes and the best bit… it will be raising money for charity too!
The craft fair will be supporting the Trauma Recovery Centre (TRC) which exists to faciliate the creative and purposeful recovery of children who are facing trauma, challenge and crisis. I have seen first hand the wonderful work that this charity does and I am delighted to have a chance to help them by raising some money. For more information about the charity and the work that they do, visit their website www.trc-uk.org. All stalls will be donating at least 10% of their proceeds on the day to this stand-out charity who are doing amazing work in the UK – plus lots of other ways to donate on the day too!
If you are a local crafter or producer and would like to be involved then email firstname.lastname@example.org.
I hope that you join us for a little bit of Christmas.
PRS for Music licences have kindly allowed us to play music at the craft fair without charge.
